This an arial view of my allotments - hopefully will be swapping plot 44 for 47. Normally the playing fields are empty but the rows and rows of cars you can see are parked there as it is the Cambridge Folk Festival - This Photo must have been taken in July 2004.

Hi happy belated birthday to you. 40 isnt old - is it? When I was 29 I didn't want to be 30 and then spent my thirties not wanting to be 40 but it came and went and its not so bad - not far off 50 now i am really and oldie!! I am amazed at your carpentry skills - where did you learn them? And the chooks look fab - not enough room where we are so can't have any but you never know maybe one day!
Hi Emma, is it ok for me to add your site to my links, I agree with jooles 40 isn't old I hope as I'm 40, love the comment about the family helping although they don't know it yet. My wife and son love it when they get the chance to go up to the allotment, I'm sure yours will. Thanks Steve.

Yes - no problem, I have your site on 'my favorites but I will need to have a blitz and put all the new sites I have found into the links on my Blog!!
Regarding being 40 - it seems that it's only other people that thing you are old - I don't feel any different than I did a month ago!!!
Hi Emma, I haven't checked the blogs for a while and so much has gone on over at your place! Chooks and birthdays - wonderful. Happy Belated 40th! Mine was last June so now on the slippery slope down to 41 but I still forget I've passed this particular milestone so I can't be feeling it too badly!
