Eggs from the hens - the lightest (top) is from Edwina, the brown one is from Florentine and the darker cream on is from Pepper. We are now getting three eggs per day, Tracey and Caramel still aren't laying.
Have found your blog and love the pictures. We are in cambridgeshire too, but our veg plot in our garden, and much less tidy than yours! tempted by chickens, but must get control of veg before expand out! We have a blog too - frantic gardener http://chrisfrench.org/gardenblog/ and also child helpers
Thanks for your comments - it is so nice that people take the time to comment - makes blogging worthwhile! - I tried to get onto your blog with no success - is the address correct? - will put it on my links if I can get onto the site.
our address was down for a bit - no ideda why! asked husband who shrugged, but says its fixed now the frantic gardener http://chrisfrench.org/gardenblog/ hope that works!
Just thought I'd stop by and say you've a cracking blog. We too have an allotment (well 3 in total) but we're a bit further north than you in Co. Durham. Much as I hate to admit it i quite enjoy having a bit nosey into other people plots. Would you mind if I linked to this blog from mine?
Anyone can link to the blog as long as theyre not trying to sell anything! - glad youre enjoying it - I am dead nosey also and as you can see I'm a very visual person - very little talking but loads of pictures! I like the blogs with lots of pictures to see!
I shall have to get my proper camera out then and take some pictures of our progress this year. Unfortunately today is miserable and wet so it wont be today. Seeing as the BBC are changing their weather forcast for us every three hours I don't know when I'll get the weather window! Today might be a day for the poly tunnel.
